We bought a gammon to have at Christmas 2016 but just didn’t get around to it with Hans & Marie staying with us and having spent Christmas at Enjo Farm. So we kept it and had it in February 2017. It was delicious with roasted baby potatoes, creamy white sauce with cauliflower & broccoli and cheese and carrots.

Young Jason from next door (5 years old) popped over for a cup of tea and a visit
Tom had a few friends over for his 17th birthday, did a chicken kebab braai with pitas and tzatziki. Sean, Tristan, Devon, Allen, Shaigan

April 2017
Ilma, Jessie & Cian visited and we started Cape Town Rocks group:Creating pebble art and spreading magic by placing decorated pebbles around Cape Town, South Africa or wherever you may travel to.

The goal is to encourage creativity, outdoorsiness, and community involvement. Join us and have some fun! We don’t care how old or young you are, how creative you are, or where you come from. You can even take one with you on your travels and leave a Cape Town Rocks somewhere exotic; somewhere far!

Here’s how it works:
If you find a decorated rock, take a picture, share it with us here on this group, then either keep it (and maybe hide on of your own creations), or place it in another public location. It can be in plain sight or hidden.

If you want your pebble to be posted back here when it’s found, write CapeTownRocks on the back with a little Facebook icon (an ‘f’ in a square). You can also add your first name and the date if you’d like. That way we can see how long a rock has been in circulation for.
